Kyle Smith, Senior Graphic Designer

From an early age, I knew I wanted to be like my father. As an industrial designer, he has a constant outpour of creativity, passion, and versatility that I was drawn to. I loved being around him, watching him, and learning alongside of him, and I knew that I wanted to work in a creative field. What started me down the path of graphic design was my father, but what captivated me about design is the endless possibilities.

My personal design philosophy is “less is more”. Clean and simple. I think true beauty and creativity in design is sparked by the ability to say a lot with a simple design. To me, this speaks volumes over something that is cluttered and feels overly designed. The words that hold the most power to me are simple, clean, elegant, strong, and minimal.

A lot of people have great ideas, but lack the skill set or ability to turn them into clearly designed elements. I believe it’s my purpose to fill that role for them. To be the one who takes their idea and helps translate it visually. Seeing my work put to good use, and helping people and businesses grow and succeed with a visual identity is what keeps me coming back to work every day. I know that I’m not done with my work until I’ve exhausted all of my efforts and abilities to make a client’s idea come to life.

Have an idea but can't seem to get it down on paper? Have a brand but want a new identity? Let's talk!
